What it is

iLoveMD is a free, browser-only Markdown viewer and converter. You can take a Markdown document and export it to PDF, DOCX, HTML, or plain text. You can pull a PDF, DOCX, HTML, CSV, or plain-text file back into Markdown. There is also a standalone Mermaid diagram editor for visual content. Every conversion runs inside your browser tab. No file is uploaded to a server we operate, and there is no account or signup involved.

iLoveMD is the smallest expression of the RBJ Global posture: take a problem that other companies solve with an upload form, and solve it instead with a static page that runs inside the visitor’s browser.

Who uses it

Writers and engineers moving notes between Markdown and the formats other tools expect. Researchers exporting drafts without handing a paper to a third-party converter. Privacy- careful users who simply do not want to upload a document to a service they cannot audit. Anyone who needs a converter once in a while and would rather not install another desktop app to get it.

Why it exists

Most document converters ask the visitor to upload the file to a server, run the conversion there, and hand back a download link. The web platform has grown to the point where these conversions can run entirely in the browser instead. iLoveMD is what that looks like in practice: a static page, no upload, no server-side processing, free to use.

Privacy promise

Nothing about iLoveMD requires you to trust us with a file. The conversion runs inside the browser tab you opened, and closing the tab ends the session. That promise is a literal description of how the product works.
